To understand cultural competence, you must understand that culture is directly related to how others perceive the trust in services they are receiving. Healthcare providers must ensure the time spent with patients fosters trust but also directly caters to an individuals' circumstances. Healthcare providers must ensure trust in their communities to ensure cultural equity and inclusion.
