For any international venture, a multinational company will need to assess the host country they will be conducting business in. The global industry considers the global economy a possible playground (or battleground). Some companies may succeed domestically but fail abroad. Other businesses effectively export their strengths from their original markets (Peng, 2017). Amazon has been a very successful multinational nation company with tier innovation, global strategy, and business strategy to operate worldwide. However, their Amazon Business Prime product has some growth opportunities. As their project manager, we will be opening an Amazon business channel office that will partner with the Amazon.au division. We will need to hire staff, a marketing team, and access its financial needs at this office. The best way to understand the local culture of Australia is to explore it through a partner resource that lives in that country.   It will be essential to get a third-party perspective since there is an established channel for Amazon already. By finding a person located in Australia where the business venture is, describing the venture idea, and sharing the background of your resource partner, we can begin to formulate a successful strategy that will be optimal for Amazon Business.

Amazon already maintains an online marketplace in 14 of the world's top 20 economies by GDP. Additionally, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore have marketplaces, but not Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, or Switzerland. Amazon faces formidable obstacles in each of the six countries that remain untapped. Amazon has launched a B2B version of its massively popular Prime loyalty program. Business Prime, like the consumer version, includes free shipping but also includes additional business-specific benefits. While large corporations often dominate manufacturing, wholesaling, and distribution are typically dominated by numerous small, regional enterprises. This creates a massive potential for a firm like Amazon (Davis, 2021).
