There are many people that are more motivated by someone who is willing to mentor and coach them. In my opinion, informal learning is just as or even more important than formal learning within an organization. With informal learning, people typically learn hands-on, which usually leads to better retention of knowledge, which can lead to more innovative thought. What do you think?
