Forensic evaluations in the treatment setting are typically comprised of several components relevant to the selection of the treatment course. The major highlights of the forensic evaluation are different from clinical evaluations conducted in non-forensic settings. Through readings in your text book and peer reviewed sources, identify 5 major differences between the forensic treatment evaluation and the clinical treatment evaluation in non-forensic settings. You should be sure to consider the presenting problem, cognitive processes, internalization and externalization of emotions, and social and interpersonal factors as targets of specific interventions.
