Question

You are working with a 5-year-old boy with food refusal and food selectivity. His parents want him to eat more chicken and rice, as well as more vegetables and fruits. Currently, this client only eats French fries, Doritos, and hot Cheetos, and he drinks soft drinks. His preferred activities are riding his bike, playing with Legos, and playing with toy trucks. Noncompliance includes pushing the food away, turning his head, closing his eyes, and shouting "No!" Given his limited food intake, you want to be careful not to further restrict his diet.
