Watch the episode of "The Profit" shown below (10 minutes). The Profit is an American documentary-style reality TV show. In each episode, Marcus Lemonis typically offers an investment and his expertise to a struggling small business in exchange for an equity stake in the business. This episode focuses on a BBQ restaurant named Shuler's BBQ.
As you'll see, Shuler's had great food and a great clientele, but faced challenges. The owners asked a relative to help with the business. His answer was to enhance the business's Facebook page. Marcus clearly thought focusing on Shuler's BBQ Facebook page was not time well spent--that there were more important issues to confront. Marcus was more concerned with (1) food costs, (2) expanding the market for the biscuits the business sold, and (3) adding a general store and a deck on the rear of the business to expand seating.
