As I mentioned earlier, I like to hire very competitive employees. The downside to that strategy is that we have a rentetion problem. At first, new consultants are happy with the incentives they get. Over time, though, they figure out that they can make more by leaving the company and working as individual consultants. That has me thinking that I should be focusing on the longer-term incentives. why is my retirement plan offering to increase retention?

-Consider a cash balance pension plan.
