Choose a film, movie, tv show, comic book or book that focuses on a psychological disorder or demonstrates an aspect of psychology, etc. You are looking for a character that demonstrates aspects of psychology. Does not need to be an English language choice. Selections could be characters with distinct diagnoses or behaviors such as: schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, dissociative identity disorder, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, alcoholism, obsessive compulsive disorder, autism, antisocial personality disorder, obedience, etc. Examples: Black Swan, A Beautiful Mind, reality tv shows, Girl, Interrupted, Harry Potter, Monk, This is Us, Sibyl, The Three Faces of Eve, Joker, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Psycho, Extremely Wicked Shocking and Vile, The Fisher King, Schindler's List, etc.

3. Include why you were interested in this character. BODY:

2. Discuss the main psychological disorder that your character demonstrates

a. Give at least TWO examples from the film to illustrate symptoms of the disorder portrayed

b. How does this issue impact the character's life?

c. How closely does the portrayal adhere to the official diagnosis?

Conclusion: Reflect on how this psychological disorder is portrayed in the media

a. Overall, would you conclude representation of psychological disorders in the media is beneficial or does more harm?

b. Would you recommend others watch your selection and why?
