Many companies today are keenly focused on "reaping the benefits of change" in terms on implementation of best practices, target markets, new product introduction and measuring of effectiveness and efficiency of the "new way" of doing things. The intentions of change (whether continuous, incremental or exponential) is about doing better (however this is chosen to be measured).

Using the tools provided to you in this course and assimilating concepts from chapter 4 of our Carpenter class book, review the status of change of a favorite [product] company of yours and address the following in the evaluation and synthesis of the information discovered:

1. What is the company's market perception (how is it perceived) regarding new product ideas?

2. What recent product did they bring to market and why?

3. Was the new product a brand extension or a new brand entrant? Explain

4. How and can you effectively measure how this product has done in terms of sales, market awareness, etc.?
