Question: System Hardening with IP Tables Iptables is an extremely flexible firewall utility built for Linux operating systems. It uses policy chains to allow or block traffic. When a connection tries to establish itself on your system, iptables looks for a rule in its list to match it, if it doesn't find one, it resorts to the default action. Demonstrate how you would use IPTables to harden your Linux box with the following restrictions:

a) Flush all of the existing firewall rules and set the default policy such that all incoming, forwarding and outgoing packets are dropped.

b) Allow only SSH (22/TCP) and HTTP (80/TCP) ports for inbound traffic

c) Allow only three attempts to log through ssh before banning the IP for 10 minutes

d) Limit the amount of TCP connections from the same IP address to port 80 within a short time (say 20 connections in 90 seconds)
