Scenario:  Flow Chart

The professional opportunities in healthcare administration are changing as quickly as the healthcare system itself.  As the HIT Supervisor, you have been given the task of developing a new training program including the flow of health information for newly hired HIT. 

Step One:  Draw a flow chart of the major steps in the encounter from the initial call or referral for appointment or admission to leaving the appointment or discharge. Read as background scholarly articles for simulation of patient flow.
