Southwest Airlines has been in the news recently. Over Christmas 2022 they had cancelled 80% of their flights stranding passengers over the holiday weekend. Not an example of operational excellence. Research on the internet what went wrong and what problems they faced. State whether you would fly with Southwest in the future and what effect the problems has on their brand. If you were CEO, what would you do to recover from this?
