1.  In parrots, the language spoken is determined by one gene, and the allele, N, for Norwegian, is completely dominant to n, Danish.  Color is determined by a locus C, and shows incomplete dominance, such that CC is blue, Cc is green, and cc is yellow.  Of course, the combination of Norwegian and blue is never seen, because the Norwegian blue is dead (although it does have beautiful plumage).  Dihybrid Norwegian green parrots (Nn Cc) are testcrossed to true-breeding Danish yellow, and the following progeny are obtained:

What is the map distance between the loci determining language and color?

2. If two birds from true-breeding lines were used to produce the dihybrid Norwegian green parrots, what were their phenotypes?

3. If a test cross of Aa Bb produces equal numbers of Aa Bb, Aa bb, aa Bb, and aa bb progeny, what can you conclude about the map distance between the two loci?
