A solenoid has a radius Rs = 3 centimeter, length L = 28.5 centimeter, and Ns = 125 turns. The current in the solenoid goes from 8.95 Amp to 3.90 Amp in 4.00 second.

a) A 6 centimeter square coil with a single turn is located with the solenoid inside it and with its plane perpendicular to the axis of the solenoid. Find the magnitude of average induced emf in the coil.

_____ µV

b) If the square coil instead has sides of length 2 centimeter thus that its entirely inside the solenoid, obtain the magnitude of average induced emf in the coil if the current goes from 8.95 Amp to 3.90 Amp in 4 second?

_____ µV
