With a person on first base, Hank hits a ball to the corner of the outfield. The outfielders have trouble retrieving the ball, therefore Hank decides to try for an in the-park home run. As he rounds third base at a speed of 18 ft/s, Hank sees that the player in front of him is two-thirds of the way from third base to home and is limping at 5.9 ft/s. It is 90 ft between bases.

If Hank wants to arrive at home plate just behind the slower runner, find what should be the magnitude of his deceleration?
