Aluminum rivets used in airplane construction are made slightly larger than the rivet holes and cooled by liquid nitrogen before being driven in. If the diameter of the hole is 9 millimeter, find what should be the diameter of a rivet at 20°C, if its diameter is to equal that of the rivet hole at -196°C? Suppose that the expansion coefficient remains the same as a function of temperature.
