During a jump to his partner, an aerialist is to make a triple somersault lasting a time of 1.87 sec. For the first and last quarter revolution, he is in the extended orientation shown, with a moment of inertia of 19.9 kgm2 around his center of gravity. During the rest of the flight he is in a moderate tuck, with a moment of inertia of 5.50kgm2.

a) Find his initial angular velocity around his centre of gravity?

b) If he now attempts a quadruple somersault, with the same angular velocity and time, by using a tighter tuck, find what must his moment of inertia be during the tuck?
