A river of width L moves uniformly with speed v.A canoe is to be paddled at a constant speed c with respect to the river. Calculate the time needed to paddle directly across the river and back to the original side, then finally aim the canoe upstream and paddle back to the start. Ignoring turn-around times, what is the round trip time?
