A phase modulation is used to transmit the signal s(t) = 10cos(20*pi*t) + 5sin(10*pi*t). kp = 3 rad/volts and fc = 20MHz?

a) What is the instantaneous frequency of the signal?
b) Write down the expression of the transmitted signal.
c) What is the approximate bandwidth of the signal?

The main problem I'm having is combining the cosine and sine terms into one cosine term to start solving for the instantaneous frequency.
