A 1200 kilogram car whose transmission is in neutral is coasting down a 10 degree hill with its brakes used to maintain a constant speed. If the total mass of the car's iron brake drums is 20 kilogram, find what is the increase in their temperature per 100 meter of travel? Suppose that the only friction acting occurs in the brakes and that all the heat produced is absorbed by the drums.
