Problem: The position of an object moving in a straight line is givenby x=2.0-3.6t+1.7t2, where x is in meters and t is in seconds.

Part A: What do the numbers 2.0,-3.6, and 1.7 refer to and what are the units of each?

Part B: What is the average velocity for the interval t=1 s to t=3s?

Part C: What is the instantaneous velocity at t=2 s?
