A police officer is investigating the scene of an accident where two vans collided at an intersection. One car with a mass of 1100 kilogram moving west had collided with a 1300 kilogram van moving north. The two vans, stuck together, skid at an angle of 30 degree north of west for a distance of 17 meter. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the road and the tires is 0.80. The speed limit for each van was 70 km/h. Find was either van speeding?
