The customer service department claims that the mean time to correct a shipping error is 10 minutes. A random sample of 60 claims from company records showed the mean to be 9.2 minutes with a standard deviation of 4.7 minutes. At the .02 significance level can we conclude that the mean time to correcting a shipment is less than 10 minutes? Do the following:

a. State the null hypothesis and the alternate hypothesis
