A 35 kilogram trunk is pushed 4.6 meter at constant speed up a 30 degree incline by a constant horizontal force. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the trunk and the incline is 0.15.

(a) Find the work done by the applied horizontal force

(b) Find the work done by the weight of the trunk

(c) Find how much energy was dissipated by the frictional force acting on the trunk

From now assume the 35 kilogram trunk is pushed 4.6 meter at constant speed up a 30 degree incline by a force along the plane. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the trunk and the incline is 0.15.

(d) Find the work done by the weight of the trunk.

(e) Find how much energy was dissipated by the frictional force acting on the trunk?
