A company produces a spherical object of radius 26 centimeters. A hole of radius 2 centimeters is drilled through the center of the object.
(a) the volume of the object (cm3)

(b) the outer surface area of the object(cm2)

The idea being, that you find the volume of the spherical object using the V=4/3π (r3) formula and then subtract the volume of the whole cut out by calculating its volume using a double integral. The same idea is applied to the surface area in part b.
