A company produces a spherical object of radius 26 centimeters. A hole of radius 2 centimeters is drilled through the center of the object.
(a) the volume of the object (cm³)

(b) the outer surface area of the object(cm²)

The idea being, that you find the volume of the spherical object using the V=4/3π (r³) formula and then subtract the volume of the whole cut out by calculating its volume using a double integral. The same idea is applied to the surface area in part b.
