A Bullet of mass 14g strikes a block of mass 1.2kg, which is at rest on a horizontal frictionless surface and is attached to a coil spring shown. The bullet comes to rest in the block. The impact compressed the spring 10 cm. it takes a force of 18 N to compress the spring by 2cm.

Find the velocity of the block just after impact?

What was the initital speed of the bullet?

Find the max potential energy of the spring during maximum compression?
