The arrangement shown in Fig. 3.71 consists of two eccentric masses rotating in opposite directions at the same speed ω. It is to be used as a mechanical shaker over the frequency range 20 to 30 Hz. Find the values of ω, e, M, m, k, and c to satisfy the following requirements:

(a) The mean power output of the shaker should be at least 1 hp over the specified frequency range.

(b) The amplitude of vibration of the masses should be between 0.1 and 0.2 in.

(c) The mass of the shaker (M) should be at least 50 times that of the eccentric mass (m).
