A narrow air column gives resonance frequencies at 285 Hz, 399 Hz, and 513 Hz, and at no frequencies in between. The temperature of air is 15 degrees Celsius.

Find:

A) the type of the pipe,

B)which harmonie (1st, or 2nd, or...), and which resonance mode (f1, or f2, or....) is the 285 Hz frequency,

C) draw the standing wave diagram of the 285 Hz frequency; indicate each end (left end, and right end), of the diagram with either an "N" (=node) or an "A" (=Antinode),

D) the length of the pipe, and the wavelength of the 285 Hz frequency,

E) the fundamental frequency and the next higher resonance frequency after 513 Hz.
