A very large tank contains the gas ethane. The pressure of ethaneis 2.14 x 104 Pa. Thereare 428 moles of this gas in avolume of 53.5 m3. Find the translational rms speed of the ethane molecules. Note: themass of a molecule of ethane is 30.0μ, where μ is theatomic mass unit, i.e. μ = 1.66 x 10-27kg.
