Question: The line length between a pump and motor is 6.0 ft. A crossover relief valve is placed at the midpoint between the pump and motor as shown in Fig. Total pressure drop through the crossover relief valve at a flow of 27 GPM is 25 psi. The line has an elbow at the pump and an elbow at the motor. The following parameters are given.
