Question: A cylinder 10 m high, with a cross-sectional area of 0.1 m2, has a mass-less piston at the bottom with water at 20oC on top of it as shown in the figure. Air at 300oK occupying a volume of 0.3 m3 under the piston is heated so that the piston moves up, spilling the water over the side.

Part A: Find the total heat transfer to the air when all of the water has been pushed out.
