A metal rod 6 meter long is held in a horizontal position. An object with mass 2.80 kilogram is suspended from a light rope that is attached 4 meter from the left-hand end of the rod. Take counterclockwise torques to be positive. For an axis at the right-hand end of the rod, find the torque exerted on the rod by the tension in the rope?
