The diagram below shows a mass moving toward the spring with an initial speed of v0. The mass then collides with the spring and compresses it a distance A' before coming to rest. The mass and the initial speed of the block are 0.980 kg and 1.32 m/s. Supposed you repeat this experiment but the force constant is doubled.
