You are given that a piece of rope is 90.5 ft long. The distance between the poles holding the rope is 90 ft. Find the tensions in both sides of the rope for someone walking across the rope and the deflection for every 0.5 ft up to 45 ft. much like the problem in our book(2.C7, Vector mechanics for engineers:statics). Setting the problem up to find the deflection as the person walks across the rope.
