A rope is with each end is attached to a ceiling that is 8ft long. The ends are positioned 6ft apart. A second rope 3ft long is attached to the eight foot rope at 3 foot from one end and 4 foot from the other end. The second rope has a 80lbs object attached to its other end. What is the tension in the section of rope that three foot long?
