Question- A thick wall of stainless steel have thermal coefficient of 21.6W/mK with dimensions of 2.54 cm internal diameter and 5.08cm outer diameter is covered with a layer of asbestos 2.54cm thick and thermal coefficient is 0.24W/mK. The inside wall temperature is 540c and the outside surface of insulation is at 37c.

Part 1- For a 1m length of pipe; calculate the heat loss and also the temperature at the interface between the metal and the insulator.
