An ideal air-filled parallel-plate capacitor consists of plates that are 1 millimeter apart and have an area of 1.5 x 10-4 m2. The capacitor is connected is connected to a 12 Volt potential source (battery). (e0= 8.85 x 10-12 C2/N·m2)
