A basketball (M = 0.6 kg, R = 12.1 cm) with a tennis ball (m = 0.06 kg, r = 3.25 cm) directly on top of it is dropped from a height of 1 m. All collisions are completely elastic - the basketball first collides with the ground and then with the tennis ball as it bounces off the ground.

a. Find the speed of the basketball after its collision with the ground, but before it collides with the tennis ball on the way back up.

b. The basketball moves with this speed just before its collision with the tennis ball. Find the speed of the tennis ball after it collides
with the basketball. Note that the tennis ball is still moving downward as it collides with the basketball.

c. How high does the tennis ball get above ground after its collision with the basketball?

d. How high does the basketball get above ground after its collision with the tennis ball?
