The plates of a parallel place capacitor have an area of 5 cm^2 each, and the capacitor has a capacitance of 3.5 pF. The capacitor is connected to a 12 V battery. After the capacitor is completely charged up, the battery is removed.

Please find,

A. What is the separation of the plates and its final charge density of each of the plates?

B. What is the magnitude of the electric field between the plates, and how much energy is stored in the capacitor?

C. If now a sheet of Mylar with a dielectric constant of K=3.2 is placed between the plates, how will the voltage across the plates change?
