A rock of mass 0.25 kilogram falls from rest from a height of 20 meter into a pail containing 0.31 kilogram of water. The water and rock have the same initial temperature. The specific heat capacity of the rock is 1840J/(kg•°C). Neglect the heat absorbed by the pail itself, and find the rise in the temperature of the water and rock.
