This data is for information regarding universities, particularly, Historically black colleges and universities versus those which aren't.
We are doing an analysis on the higher education sector and then breaking it down into HBCUS vs other universities and seeing what information we can find out. HBCUS are mostly concentrated in the south so we'll definitely need to compare the other universities in the south to HBCUs. HBCUs are coded as 1 and all others are coded as 0. I would like several things to be on this in STATA. I am sending it as an excel document because I don't know how to send a stata file. If you know how to I can send that, it may be easier. There are several categories such as revenue, contributions, assets, and liabilities.
You need to find the revenue for schools for each year broken down into hbcus vs the other schools.
You need to find the contributions for each year of hbcus vs the other schools.
You need to find the states where hocus are and the states where the other universities are.
Look out the contributions and revenue for each year for the states where hbcus are (they aren't in every state) and revenue and contributions for the other universities in those same states.
(Let me know if this part needs clarification) If there is any other information that you would find useful that you think we should include in our analysis please let me know.
Also, provide a log file of all the commands you run and create graphs in the future.
