Suppose that x has a Poisson distribution with m = 2.

a. Use the formulas given in this section to compute the mean, m , variance, s2, and standard deviation, sx.

b. Calculate the intervals [mx ± 2sx] and [mx ± 3sx]. Then use the probabilities you calculated in Exercise 5.30 to find the probability that x will be inside each of these intervals.
