Question: A gas with a molar mass of 4 and a specific heat ratio of 1.67 is expanded from a large reservoir in which the pressure and temperature are 600 kPa and 35°C, respectively, through a nozzle system until the Mach number is 1.5. A normal shock wave then occurs in the flow. Find the pressure and velocity behind the shock wave.
