We have a balanced y-y system where the total power delivered to the Load is 1188 KW. wITH A lAGGING pOWER fACTOR OF 0.6. tHE LINE VOLTAGE AT THE LOAD IS 6600v. The line Impedance is 0.5+0.4j ohms.

a) Find the power lost in the line.

b) To reduce the line loss we want to reduce the Magnitude of I by 36.755%. To accomplish this we use a bank of Delta connected Caps across the Load. Let frequency=60hz. Find the value of the Caps.
