One megabit computer memory chip contains many 6.0 x 10-14 F capacitors. Each capacitor has a plate area of 2.4 x 10-11 m2. Find the plate separation of such a capacitor. (Suppose a parallel-plate configuration). The diameter of an atom is on the order of 10-10 m = 1.
