Problem - Consider the example problem given in Schroeder et al. on p. 220 (attached) that concerns capacity of driven pile in clay. Find the pile capacity you would expect if you used 18 in square pile instead of the 12 in square pile in the example.
Hint: you only need to modify the calculation given in the example where the size of the pile is a consideration. Recognizing this will save you much effort.
What are other factors that may be involved in deciding if increasing the pile size is desirable?

The question is about the calculation of capacity of piles. Here by using a set of formulas we have derived the solution for capacity. Finally based on the condition it is proved that the pile length is the desirable one.
Very happy with the work I must have to say that expert has clearly provided all steps on the calculations. I got full marks in my assignment.
Please provide a solution for problem 2. Calculations need to be as per the example. You can use the example but make sure that there should not by any repetitions of the steps because then the answer will not match with the requirement of the questions.
