A pendulum is made by suspending a .1kg meter stick through a pivot locaed .3m from one end. The moment of inertia of a thin rod about the center of mass is 1/12ml^2. Find the period of small oscillatons and if a stuffed elephant of .2kg is attached at the bottom end of the pendulum. What is the period now?
