There are two lens (diverging and converging), and diverging mirror. Each of them has five images. Attached below

1. For each applet take a series of five settings of object distance and record the image distance. These distances are given at the top of each screen. Note whether the image is enlarged or diminished, erect or inverted, and real or virtual (virtual image means negative image distance).

Also record the focal length of each lens or mirror!!

2. . Using data from the converging lens test the thin lens formula. To do this, calculate 1/object distance + 1/image distance. Also calculate 1/focal length. Find the percent difference between these two numbers. (If the measurements and theory are correct, the percent difference will = 0).

3. Also calculate the magnification for these situations. The magnification will be image size divided by object size.
