1. The Medical Rehabilitation Education Foundation found that average cost for stroke rehabilitation was $16411. An administrator at Pine Valley Rehab Center thinks that the average cost is lower at her facility. She sampled 40 patients and found the sample mean cost for rehab was $15706 with a sample standard deviation of $2016. Find the p-value for this test correct to four decimal places. 

2. The University of Minnesota uses thousands of flourescent light bulbs each year. The brand of bulb it currently uses has a mean life of 900 hours. A manufacturer claims that the bulbs it sells for the same price last, on average, longer than 900 hours. To test the manufacturer's claim, 64 bulbs were randomly tested and it was found that the sample mean was 923 hours with a standard deviation of 92 hours. Find the p-value for the test correct to four decimal places.
