A man with a mass of 67 kilogram stands at the left end of a uniform beam that has a mass of 98 kilogram and a length of 2.9 meter. Another man with a mass of 70 kilogram stands on the far right end of the beam and holds a medicine ball with a mass of 16 kilogram (suppose that the ball is also at the far right end as well). Let the origin of our coordinate system be the left end of the original position of the beam as shown in the assume. Suppose there is no friction between the beam and floor.

1) The medicine ball is thrown to the left end of the beam and caught. Find the new x position of the man at the left end of the beam?

2) To return the medicine ball to the other man, both people walk to the center of the beam. Determine at what x position do they end up?
